Photography & Sketching
Still photography for personal use is permitted unless otherwise noted. Photography may not be permitted in certain exhibitions due to copyright restrictions. Interchangeable-lens cameras, tripods and flash photography are not permitted.
Sketching in pencil is permitted in the galleries with sketchbooks no larger than 9 x 12 inches. No ink, pens, markers, chalk, easels, stools or sketching while sitting on the floor is permitted. While sketching, please do not hinder visitor traffic flow in the galleries.
During periods of high attendance, The Baker Museum reserves the right to make any necessary adjustments to this sketching policy.
To ensure the safety of the collections and patron enjoyment, The Baker Museum does not permit backpacks of any size, shopping bags, duffel bags, large totes, laptops or umbrellas in the galleries.
Food and beverages are not permitted in the galleries. Refreshments and light fare can be purchased at Cafe Intermezzo and enjoyed in Norris Garden or other designated areas.
Baby strollers are permitted at all times. However, oversized bags, food or drink accompanying strollers are not permitted.
Wheelchairs are available; please inquire at the information desk.
