Friends of Art

A support group for Artis—Naples’ visual arts programs, Friends of Art (FOA) helps to underwrite exhibitions, sponsor lecture series and provide much-needed funding for The Baker Museum’s educational efforts, including school field trips and hands-on arts activities for children and families.

Members of Friends of Art assist in volunteer capacities throughout The Baker Museum and participate in such fundraising projects as Artists' Studio Tour, study groups, day trips to neighboring Florida museums and art-focused tours to major cities in the United States and abroad.

Baker Museum Members at the $250 and above level are automatically enrolled in Friends of Art, while Individual and Premier level members are invited to join for an additional payment of $50 per person.

In addition to the benefits associated with their Baker Museum Membership, Friends of Art receive:

  • Courtesy admission to the Galleries
  • Guest passes to the Galleries
  • Invitations to preview receptions for new exhibitions
  • Specially arranged art trips
  • Discounts on selected lectures and FOA events
  • Newsletters with advance notice of events
  • Opportunities to volunteer in projects which benefit the Galleries
  • Funds transportation for school trips for gallery tours at Artis—Naples
