One of the greatest violin virtuosos of our time, Anne-Sophie Mutter has performed in all the major music centers of Europe, the USA and Asia. In addition to performing major traditional works, Mutter has treated her audiences to new and innovative repertoires. She also uses her popularity for charity projects and supports the development of young, exceptionally talented musicians. Mutter’s abundant accolades include the French Order of the Legion of Honour, the Leipzig Mendelssohn prize and the St. Ulrich European Prize. In 2013 Mutter was inducted into the American Academy of Arts & Sciences as a Foreign Honorary Member.
