Founded in Moscow during the transitional Perestroika period of the late 1980s, the Russian National Ballet Theatre blends the timeless traditions of classical Russian Ballet with new developments in dance from around the world. Under the artistic direction of legendary Bolshoi principal dancer Elena Radchenko, the Russian National Ballet Theatre has dedicated itself to developing new dance talent while preserving Russia’s great ballet works including virtually every major work by iconic choreographer Marius Petipa. His legendary Don Quixote will thrill Artis—Naples audiences this season.
