Chamber Music

Beethoven – “Eyeglass” duo for Viola and Cello
Mozart – String Quartet No. 17 “The Hunt”
Beethoven – String Quartet Op. 18, No. 2

While Beethoven and Mozart may be best known for their symphonic compositions, both made extraordinary contributions to the chamber music repertoire. Join the players of the Naples Philharmonic for an exploration of these giants’ most intimate works. The program includes Beethoven’s String Quartet Op. 18, No. 2 and Mozart’s lyrical String Quartet No. 17, nicknamed “The Hunt.” The latter of these quartets is a Hollywood favorite, making appearances in such films as The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and Star Trek: Insurrection.

This performance is part of the Sypert Salon chamber music series.

Sponsored by a generous gift from Drs. George Sypert & Joy Arpin.
