Connected & Disconnected:

The Sculpture of Hanneke Beaumont

The artist will make a special appearance at Artis—Naples on December 16, 2013.

This retrospective of Dutch sculptor Hanneke Beaumont’s work features her enigmatic bronze figures, a source of fascination and wonder since capturing international attention in the late 1990s. Connected and Disconnected features more than 20 sculptures as well as a select group of large-scale drawings. Works in terracotta, bronze and iron will also be highlighted, allowing visitors the opportunity to understand the artist’s command of the human figure.
