Artist in Residence

Lothar Nickel

In honor of the 25th anniversary of Artis—Naples, The Baker Museum has commissioned acclaimed sculptor Lothar Nickel to create a work of marble on campus. Spectators will be able to witness the piece come to life in stages, and see the final outcome on display.

No museum admission necessary to view the artist at work. He will be sculpting on the front lawn of Artis—Naples on Tuesday through Friday of each week from 10am to 4pm. Parking is free.

Lothar Nickel's creation will remain a mystery until it nears completion.

Lothar Nickel is generously underwritten by Friends of Art.
