Special guest appearance by author Gabrielle Zevin.

April 9 & 11: The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin
A.J. Fikry is a cranky, disappointed, 39-year-old widower whose tiny island bookstore is about to go out of business. And then life deals him a wholly unexpected surprise. This novel is a touching, charming love letter to the redemptive power of literature.

This lecture is part of Elaine Newton's Critic’s Choice series, featuring contemporary literature’s most compelling works.

Please note: The April 9 lecture will be held in the Daniels Pavilion. The April 11 lecture will be held in Hayes Hall.
