The “ESSSS” Factor

Jodie DeSalvo—Piano Music

An alliterative coincidence and point of fact, some of the piano’s finest repertoire comes from composers whose names begin with the letter “S”—Scarlatti, Schubert, Schumann and Strauss. In Jodie DeSalvo’s “ESSSS” Factor event, the work of these four composers demonstrates the evolution of piano music from the Baroque through Early Modern eras.

An Artis—Naples favorite, Jodi DeSalvo is a graduate of the Hartt and Manhattan schools of music and has performed at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. DeSalvo is an artist faculty member at Florida International University in Miami.
