Part III —
Modern Art

John Lobell's Arts and Culture
Artis—Naples Lifelong Learning

We often think of works of art as isolated objects which we can enjoy for their beauty. But we can also see art as embedded in its culture. In this series of four talks, Lobell illustrates cultures as symbolic, each presenting a very different notion of who we are as human beings and how we construct our social environments.

March 25: Part III — Modern Art
Discover what was revolutionary about Modern Art and modern culture.

This presentation is the third of John Lobell's Arts and Culture lecture series.
