About the Program

William Kloss—Art History

Paul Cézanne

Join noted art historian William Kloss for an illustrated lecture examining the work of French Post-Impressionist painter Paul Cézanne. Cézanne's work is frequently described as having bridged late 19-century Impressionism and early 20th century movements like Cubism, earning him the respect of both Matisse and Picasso, who are credited with having dubbed Cézanne, “the father of us all.”
