Travels in Art

Art Excursions

The Explore Florida! series offers stimulating day trips to exciting museums, exhibitions and private collections. Previous outings have included visits to St. Augustine, Winter Park, Coconut Grove, Miami and Palm Beach. Join Friends of Artis—Naples as we prepare for these trips:

Kansas City and Bentonville

A wonderful new itinerary is planned for Kansas City and Bentonville, both renowned destinations for art and architecture. For past participants, we have added new museums, sites and collectors as well as favorites, such as Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. Don’t miss this chance to see some beautiful fall foliage and spectacular art — we welcome all former and all new participants to join us! September 26-October 2, 2018.

Museum Travel Alliance

Artis—Naples has recently joined the Museum Travel Alliance. Donors of Friends of Artis—Naples at The Baker Museum and Leadership Circle are eligible to take advantage of this benefit. The Museum Travel Alliance (MTA) provides donors of participating museums with access to unique, high-end cultural travel programs. Travelers will be joining others affiliated with other participating museums from across the country on MTA tours. All tour programs are developed and operated by Academic Arrangements Abroad, the leader in museum travel since 1977.
