Ambassadors and Docents

Ambassadors provide engaging interaction and quality service to all Artis—Naples patrons. Ambassadors are essential to creating a friendly and comfortable patron experiences. Ambassadors warmly welcome visitors and answer questions at the information desks and in the galleries. They distribute brochures, recommend exhibitions and pieces to see in the museum and provide information about the day’s events, exhibitions and Artis—Naples facilities.

Ambassadors are required to attend an orientation training session and provide an average of 12 hours of service per month.

For more information about the Ambassador Program at Artis—Naples, please email jtipton@artisnaples.org.

The mission of The Baker Museum Docent Program is to enable visitors to discover, enjoy and learn about the collections, exhibitions and history of the museum. Through interactive tours, we seek to stimulate curiosity, meet the diverse needs of visitors and provide skills for lifelong learning. Docents provide museum tours for school groups, scout troops, private adult groups, public tours and more.

In addition to the initial three-month training period, there is ongoing training for docents, including special orientations of new exhibitions, exclusive workshops and lectures. Being a docent is an ideal way to express your love of the arts with your community.

For more information about the Docent Program at The Baker Museum, please contact Jessica Wozniak, Curator of Education, at 239-254-2621 or jwozniak@artisnaples.org.
