The rise of stunning modern architecture in the Arab Gulf States, China and elsewhere took root in the late 1950s with the construction of New York City’s Seagram Building. In this lecture, you will discover how the Seagram Building’s architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, led his peers to explore new eye-popping designs for buildings and skyscrapers across the globe.
