Don’t miss this visit from a member of the First Family of Jazz! The Naples Philharmonic Jazz Orchestra is joined by master jazz trombonist, composer and producer Delfeayo Marsalis for a pair of riveting performances in Daniels Pavilion. Marsalis has toured internationally with such jazz legends as Ray Charles, Art Blakey, Max Roach, Elvin Jones and Slide Hampton, as well as his own groups. Known for his relaxed and confident playing, Marsalis is an expert performer and musician, and London Jazz News notes that he “appears to have been born for the role of cheerfully delivering jazz standards to the public.”
