Lecture
Critic's Choice
Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow
Artis—Naples Lifelong Learning
Elaine Newton, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus of Humanities at York University, Toronto
The book to be discussed is
Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow
by Gabrielle Zevin
Spanning 30 years and the breadth of the United States, this wise and wry novel tells the story of two lifelong friends who together design a video game that launches them into lives of fame, wealth, joy and sorrow. Gabrielle Zevin’s dazzling and intricate novel examines the nature of identity, disability, failure and — above all — our need for love.
Please note: The Thursday lecture will be held in Daniels Pavilion. The Saturday lecture will be held in Hayes Hall.
