Mozart’s vocal compositions are admired for melodic beauty, formal elegance and richness of harmony. He pushed the musical boundaries and influenced the course of opera with his broad collection of works that remain among the most popular operas even today, including Idomeneo, The Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni, Così fan tutte, La Clemenza di Tito and The Magic Flute. This concert, presented by a quartet of Gulfshore Opera artists with piano accompaniment, features a variety of scenes and arias by Mozart and the Italian masters, Rossini and Donzetti, who followed him.
