Richard Rodgers Reimagined
Rising pop/rock star and Broadway performer Kyle Riabko and his band reinvent Rodgers’ greatest showstoppers, including Oh, What A Beautiful Morning; The Lady Is a Tramp; My Favorite Things; and many more.
Kyle Riabko’s already 15-year career has included a little bit of everything — songwriting, touring, producing, acting on television and on Broadway and creating an acclaimed Off-Broadway and West End show — but all of it comes from the same place: a neverending love of music.
He released a full-length album (Before I Speak) of original music on Columbia/Aware Records at the age of 17. Next, Riabko went on to star on Broadway and in the first national tour of the acclaimed rock musical Spring Awakening and subsequently starred on Broadway in the hit revival of Hair. He has also appeared as an actor in various film and TV projects. Most recently, Riabko created and starred in What’s It All About?: Bacharach Reimagined at New York Theatre Workshop (Once, Rent, Peter and the Starcatcher) and subsequently in London at The Menier Chocolate Factory and the Criterion Theater in the West End, where the show broke box office records. In London, the show was retitled Close To You: Bacharach Reimagined. Burt Bacharach said “Kyle has done something truly unique with my music. He’s a beautiful singer and one hell of a guitar player.”
In 2017, Riabko released an original EP online, Holding My Breath. He continues to work on several upcoming projects and is currently performing solo shows around the country.
