Hooray for Hollywood
Handsome Hunks and Romantic Heroes — Part One

Artis—Naples Lifelong Learning

Rick Harris, lecturer

Once called matinee idols, dashing leading men have long been a key to financial success and audience appeal. We will look at such leading men as Paul Newman, Douglas Fairbanks, Montgomery Clift, Tom Hanks, Charles Boyer, Errol Flynn, Tyrone Power, Robert Taylor, John Barrymore, Cary Grant, Brad Pitt, Robert Mitchum, Sidney Poitier, John Wayne, Marlon Brando, Robert Redford, Burt Reynolds, Steve McQueen and Rudolph Valentino.

Rick Harris will present his lectures virtually from his home in New York to a socially distanced audience in The Baker Museum’s new Signature Event Space.

This presentation is part of Rick Harris' Hooray for Hollywood series.
