Chopin — Barcarolle, Op. 60
Rameau, arr. Nakagawa —Suite in G for Woodwind Quintet
Beethoven — Piano Trio in B-flat Major, “Archduke”

The 2023-24 Sypert Salon series opens with an intimate afternoon of chamber works, beginning with Chopin’s Barcarolle, an intoxicatingly expressive piece for solo piano performed by guest pianist Natasha Paremski, whose musical sensibility and flawless technique have won over audiences around the world. Musicians of the Naples Philharmonic follow Paremski’s solo with an arrangement of prominent 18th-century composer Jean-Philippe Rameau’s Suite in G for Woodwind Quintet, comprised of six dance movements that each evokes imagery of a different character. The performance concludes with Beethoven’s sweeping and grandiose “Archduke” Piano Trio, the final piano trio of the composer’s career — and arguably his finest.

The Sypert Salon Series is generously sponsored by Drs. George Sypert and Joy Arpin.
