Musicians of the Naples Philharmonic

Mozart — String Quartet in D Minor, K. 421
Lachner — Septet in E-flat Major

Taking into consideration the composer’s tragically short life, the musical output of Mozart is nothing short of startling. With well over 600 works in his oeuvre, Mozart’s ability to produce masterpiece after masterpiece has forever earned him a place among the world’s most prolific and influential composers. This performance by musicians of the Naples Philharmonic opens with one of Mozart’s 23 string quartets, all of which stand out as some of the best string quartets ever written. The performance concludes with Franz Lachner’s cheerful Septet.

The Sypert Salon Series is generously sponsored by Drs. George Sypert and Joy Arpin.
