Distinguished by strong lyrical writing, rich melodies and lush harmonies, The Sweet Remains is a talented three-man band of singer-songwriters, appealing to fans of modern folk-rockers like Jason Mraz and John Mayer while also harkening back to super groups of the ’60s and ’70s like Crosby, Stills & Nash, The Eagles and Simon & Garfunkel. The Sweet Remains tours regularly throughout North America and Europe, delighting audiences with their dynamic live shows that range from simple core-trio acoustic sets to six-piece, full-band lineups.

In addition to soulful live performances in Daniels Pavilion, The Sweet Remains will also screen their narrative feature film The Independents, a fictionalized version of the origin of this group that was featured in the Naples International Film Festival.

   Film Event

The Independents, a musical comedy-drama created by and starring The Sweet Remains, will be shown in Daniels Pavilion on February 2.
