Youth Symphonia
Naples Philharmonic Youth Symphonia
Under the direction of Naples Philharmonic violinist Gregg Anderson, the Naples Philharmonic Youth Symphonia (NPYS) is a string training ensemble for motivated elementary school through high school student musicians. Members of the NPYS have the opportunity to perform in chamber and full string ensemble settings representing a wide range of genres, including classical, popular and film music.

Gregg Anderson
Gregg Anderson
Gregg Anderson, violin, has a Bachelor of Music from the University of Kansas and a Master of Music from the College Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati. Gregg’s previous orchestral experience includes the Florida Symphony (Orlando), Columbus Symphony (Ohio) and Los Angeles Philharmonic Institute. He was concertmaster with the Hamilton Orchestra, University of Kansas Symphony and St. Joseph Symphony.
Gregg is the director of the Naples Philharmonic Symphonia, a string ensemble of young musicians that performs at Artis—Naples and in the community. He has been a member of the Naples Philharmonic since 1993.
