Set up on a date arranged by their traditional Indian parents, Ravi and Rita don’t seem to share anything in common. As their time together becomes increasingly awkward, the unlikely pair prepare to part ways… until a COVID-19 shelter-in-place mandate is announced, forcing Ravi to remain at Rita’s place for a week. Ravi soon discovers that Rita is not quite the traditional conservative girl of his dreams, but her “bad influence” might be just what he needs to expand his limited worldview.
As irritation gives way to intimacy over the next seven days, Ravi and Rita begin to form an unforeseen bond as they are both forced to confront what they have been hiding from each other, from their families and from themselves. .
