Elza, a young woman living with and providing for her physically disabled mother, dreams of becoming an artist and studying painting at an arts university in London. Her mother, however, deems this idea to be ridiculous and discourages Elza from pursuing her dream, stating that there would be no one to take care of her and the house they live in if she left. Elza’s boss, on the other hand, believes just the opposite, and he encourages Elza to pursue her dreams as he believes she has the talent to do it. With no easy solution, Elza struggles with the decision she has to make.
