Through the lens of film, the life and work of an artist can take on a new shape and meaning, providing deeper insight into the artist behind that work and the motivations for the art they create. In this panel, Elaine Newton sits down with some of our visiting filmmakers to discuss the visual and performing artists at the center of their films — and to learn about the challenges and triumphs involved with sharing these personal stories.
