Joe Leonardo's Great Composer and Lyricist Teams of the American Musical Theater Series
Artis—Naples Lifelong Learning

Joe Leonardo, Laura Carnell Professor Emeritus of Theater at Temple University

Lyricist/book writer Alan J. Lerner and composer Frederick Loewe wrote the memorable mid-20th century Broadway hits Brigadoon, My Fair Lady, Camelot and the Academy Award-winning film Gigi. These shows include musical theater standards Almost Like Being in Love; I Could Have Danced All Night; On the Street Where You Live; Get Me to The Church on Time; and the title tunes from Camelot and Gigi. This presentation is part of Joe Leonardo's Great Composer and Lyricist Teams of the American Musical Theater lecture series.
