Forging Art

Marcia Eaton's Art and Language
Artis—Naples Lifelong Learning

Marcia Eaton, Professor Emeritus, University of Minnesota

Which art forms can be forged and why?  Is the existence of an artistic language relevant here?  Does the knowledge that something is a forgery prevent one's enjoying it, aesthetically?

This presentation is part of Marcia Eaton's Art and Language lecture series.

Languages of Art  This lecture is part of Artis—Naples' 2017-18 season theme, Languages of Art.
