Cello Master Class

An Evening with Cellist Richard Hirschl
of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra

Cellist Richard Hirschl, a member of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra since 1989 and a former associate teacher at the Juilliard School, brings honed teaching abilities and a lifetime of experience to bear in a master class with young musicians of the Naples Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. Hirschl won the 1988 Juilliard Concerto Competition and has appeared in chamber music settings with venerated cellists, including Yo-Yo Ma and Lynn Harrell. As part of the CSO and Artis—Naples commitment to community education, this master class is free and open to the public.

This master class is part of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra 2020 Residency at Artis—Naples.

The Visiting Orchestras series is generously sponsored by Judy and Verne Istock.
