Radu Paponiu, conductor

Gulfshore Playhouse and the Naples Philharmonic at Artis—Naples first joined forces with the Collier County Public Schools in 2017 to present Starcrossed, an adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, free of charge to the 2019 and 2020 graduating classes. In fall 2019, Shipwrecked, a new adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Tempest, will take the stage. This partnership is designed to enhance students’ understanding of Shakespeare’s work while giving them the unique opportunity to witness world-class performances from professional actors and musicians.
