This lecture is part of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra Residency at Artis—Naples.

One of the world’s most celebrated orchestras returns to Artis—Naples. Celebrating the 175th Anniversary of the Vienna Philharmonic, two of the orchestra’s most distinguished experts will explore the orchestra’s venerated history through images of historical letters, objects and more.

The Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra continues a three-year residency at Artis—Naples. With concerts on March 1 and 3, as well as a variety of initiatives ranging from public master classes with members of the Naples Philharmonic Youth Orchestra to lectures on Viennese culture and traditions as part of Artis—Naples’ popular Lifelong Learning continuing education series.
