Artis—Naples ("us", "we", or "our") operates artisnaples.org (the "site") and tickets.artisnaples.org (“the cart”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information we receive from users of the site and the cart.

General Browsing

No personal information is collected.

You may visit and browse the Artis—Naples website as often as you like without logging in. No personal information about your visit will be collected. If you visit our website simply to browse, we may collect general information about the way in which you use our website, but none of the information is identifiable to you and is used only for aggregate statistical analysis. Such general information includes, but is not limited to, the time and duration of visits, type of web browsers used, the operating system/platform that our visitors are using, the internet service providers being used, and the websites from which our visitors linked to us. We also may note whether and how you use our website by recording site traffic patterns and clickstreams in an aggregate statistical analysis. None of these patterns are personally identifiable to you. We do not associate the general information that we collect with any personal information and we do not otherwise monitor this information on an individual basis. Instead, we aggregate this usage information and use it only to identify the levels and areas of interest in Artis—Naples and to improve and refine our website and services. We may perform (or have third parties perform) analyses of visitors' behavior, and may share aggregated, anonymous data with third-party statistical analysis firms which help us improve your online experience.

Purchasing Tickets

or Contributing Online

Personal information is collected.

While you are logged into your Artis—Naples account to purchase tickets or use other online services, you are not anonymous to us online. This helps our Customer Service department assist you with your purchase and provide help should you need it. If you wish to browse our site anonymously you will need to log out of your online account. You may purchase tickets anonymously if you choose to pay by cash in person at our Box Office.

Artis—Naples collects personal information when you make a purchase or a contribution online, register an account, sign up for our newsletter, participate in an online survey, contact Artis—Naples with a question or suggestion, apply for employment with Artis—Naples and when you attend certain special events where heightened security is necessary. Depending on the nature of your interaction with Artis—Naples, we may ask you for information such as your name, phone number, physical address, company-related information, email address, credit card information including expiration date and billing address, and product preferences. Under certain less common and special circumstances (such as applying for employment), we may ask you for other information such as your social security number. In such cases, we will inform you of the reason we are requesting that information and how it will be used.

Your personal information may be used by us (or third parties engaged by us) to: (1) assist you with your purchase, (2) provide you with your account history, (3), customize the website content that you see, (4) fulfill your requests for other products and services, (5) contact you, (6) conduct research, (7) respond to subpoenas, court orders or legal process, and (8) establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.

In addition, Artis—Naples may provide your name, address, phone number and/or email to third parties whose services we contract to assist us in our operations. Although we do not share any other information about you, the selection criteria may result in the third party being able to identify your relationship with Artis—Naples in a broad manner, e.g., that you are a subscriber or donor, or may have attended a particular production. You can request at any time that we do not share your name and address or phone numbers with such third parties. Artis—Naples does not monitor or control the privacy policies of such third parties.

Certain performances at Artis—Naples are produced or presented by third parties. When you make a purchase to a performance presented or produced by one of these third party organizations, Artis—Naples may provide them with information regarding your purchase. This information may include, but shall not be limited to, your name, address and details of your purchase, which may include, but shall not be limited to, the date you purchased your tickets, any offer you responded to, and the locations of your seats.

Technology

Artis—Naples uses "cookie" technology on our website and our shopping cart. A cookie is a small amount of data sent by our website and stored on your computer's hard drive that our site can read, and which helps us keep track of the contents in your shopping cart during ticket purchases. Many web browsers automatically accept cookies by default, but contain an option for you to turn off the cookie acceptance if you prefer. If you turn off acceptance, there may be some features of our websites that will not be available to you, and some webpages may not display properly.

Except as otherwise explained in this policy, we may combine the non-personal information we collect from you (as described above and as described below, under “Cookies & Pixel Tracking”) with your personal information in order to tailor our websites and enhance your online experience by saving your preferences and/or to help identify site features, advertisements and offers that may be of interest to you.

Cookies & Pixel Tracking

Artis—Naples and our partners use cookies, pixel tags, etags, HTML5 storage and similar technologies on most of our sites and in promotional emails which we may send to you. We use them to monitor and understand your use of our websites and services; improve your user experience and enable personalized features and content; optimize our advertisements and marketing and see which email promotions were of interest to you; and assist third-party advertising companies to serve ads on our behalf across the Internet. At this time, Artis—Naples websites do not respond to automated signals regarding tracking mechanisms, including “do not track” instructions from your browser. However, you have other options for preventing or limiting the use of cookies and similar technologies. Please see “Online Tracking” for more information.

Online Tracking

When we use third-party advertising companies to serve ads on our behalf across the Internet, these companies employ cookie and pixel tag technology on this and other websites in order to help select the ads that are displayed to you. For example, it helps ensure you do not see the same advertisements repeatedly and to display advertisements more specific to your interests. Our Privacy Policy does not cover the information practices of other companies and organizations who advertise our services outside our site, and who may use cookies, pixel tags and other technologies to serve and offer relevant ads.

Some newer web browsers incorporate “Do Not Track” features. At this time, our websites may not respond to “Do Not Track” requests or headers from these browsers. To learn more about your choices about not having this information used by certain service providers, please click here, or for European residents, please click here. (Please note: opting out of this practice does not opt you out of being served advertising. You will continue to receive generic ads.)
