Youth Chorus

The Naples Philharmonic Youth Chorus gives young singers the chance of a lifetime—an opportunity to perform alongside the Naples Philharmonic and in their own special concert in the Hayes Hall.

Auditions for new members are held in early September and January. Students from the age of 7 through high school are encouraged to audition. The 100-voice Naples Philharmonic Youth Chorus rehearses in groups divided by age and ability on Saturday mornings on the Artis—Naples campus.

For more information or to schedule an audition, please contact Joy Ann Lawfer, Education Coordinator, at 239-254-2642 or jlawfer@artisnaples.org.

  • Annual tuition for the Naples Philharmonic Youth Chorus is $125.
  • The one time music fee is $25. Some scholarships are available.

Those wishing to audition should prepare a song of their choosing no longer than two minutes that showcases their vocal talents. All auditions must be with piano accompaniment, not to recorded music or a cappella, and singers are asked to provide a copy for the Naples Philharmonic piano accompanist. Applicants will be asked to match pitch and, depending on their musical background, may be asked to sight-read.

Auditions will be held in the Daniels Pavilion by appointment only.

The Naples Philharmonic Youth Chorus is generous underwritten by the estate of Mae S. Wood.

Youth Chorus Recital

The 100-voice Naples Philharmonic Youth Chorus will perform in their own spring concert. A popular and festive event suitable for the whole family.
