Naples Collects

2022-23

Naples Collects exhibition

Ida O’Keeffe (American, 1889-1961). Untitled (Lighthouse with Sailboat), 1932-33. Oil on canvas. Jeri L. Wolfson Collection.

March 4 – October 15
Located on the second floor of The Baker Museum

As a follow-up to the hugely popular Naples Collects exhibition of 2016, this season’s version continues to share the most inspiring and engaging art from local private collections. The paintings, sculptures, works on paper and mixed media pieces in this exhibition allow us to share with the museum’s visitors some of our community’s most prized possessions. They also provide a rich overview of artistic production, ranging from modern masters to cutting-edge contemporary artists. Many of these objects complement the strengths of The Baker Museum’s permanent collection, while others propose new areas of exploration and inquiry. Most importantly, these works showcase and celebrate the interests, tastes and experiences of collectors in the area, all while underscoring a shared passion for the visual arts.
