Application Process

  • Please complete the application with the link above.
  • Students who are not currently in the Naples Philharmonic Youth Symphonia will audition on Wednesday, May 22 between 4pm and 6pm. Current NPYS members do not need to audition.
    • 1 prepared solo piece of student choice. This piece should demonstrate the student’s musical and technical abilities.
    • One two- (or three-) octave scale of student choice.
    • Students may be asked to sight read a short passage.

Tuition

Tuition for the camp is $250 and is inclusive of snacks and the pizza party on Wednesday.  Financial assistance is available based on need.

Naples Philharmonic Youth Symphonia members and other exceptional young string players ages 10 to 17 are welcome to join in this one-week chamber-music-intensive program, culminating in a free Friday evening concert for the public. Led by Naples Philharmonic Violinist and Naples Philharmonic Youth Symphonia Director Gregg Anderson, the concert will include classical, pop and film soundtrack selections.
 

Schedule


Students will rotate between chamber music and string orchestra rehearsals.
