Safety and Security

Artis—Naples is host to 300,000 visitors annually who experience over 800 extraordinary, world-class performing arts experiences. Your safety is very important to us. To help ensure the highest level of safety and security, Artis—Naples has created policies and procedures to promote a comfortable, secure and welcoming environment for all visitors, artists and patrons.

As part of these efforts, all patrons will be screened at the point of entry and all bags will be subject to search. We suggest that all patrons arrive early and bring only necessary items to avoid delays during the arrival screening process. Additionally, our bag policy limits the size of bags and our prohibited items policy prohibits certain items on the premises.

Visitors who refuse to allow the screening and/or bag inspection may be denied entry.

Please note that guests found in possession of prohibited items including weapons will be required to remove the items from the premises. We do not offer storage for oversized bags or prohibited items, so please plan accordingly.

Bag Size

We kindly ask that you bring only those items necessary for your visit to Kimberly K. Querrey and Louis A. Simpson Cultural Campus. A small purse/hand bag or clutch bag is appropriate. Bags must not exceed 14 x 14 x 4 inches. Certain types of bags and/or cases are prohibited, including but not limited to:

  • Backpacks
  • Large Totes and Duffel Bags
  • Luggage/Suitcases
  • Beach Bags
  • Computer Bags/Cases
  • Camera Bags/Cases
  • Briefcases

Exceptions can be made after a proper inspection for the following items:

  • Diaper bags
  • Medically necessary items
  • Media equipment for media outlets accompanied and approved by Artis—Naples staff
  • Support bags for working service animals

Prohibited Items

Your safety is very important to us. Therefore, firearms or weapons of any kind are prohibited. Such items prohibited in the Kimberly K. Querrey and Louis A. Simpson Cultural Campus include, but are not limited to:

  • Weapons of any kind including firearms, pocket/utility knives or cutting instruments
  • Pepper spray, mace or other chemicals
  • Alcohol, illegal substances or drug paraphernalia
  • Professional-grade audio, photo or video recording equipment
  • Food or beverage, unless purchased at Artis—Naples

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with these measures, as we strive to create a comfortable, safe and enjoyable experience for all our guests.
