Canadian jazz guitarist Jocelyn Gould brings her distinctive five-finger and hybrid picking style to Daniels Pavilion for an infectious program with the Naples Philharmonic Jazz Orchestra. Influenced by Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass and Kenny Burrell, Gould blends a modern technical approach with a deep grounding in swing tradition, delivering performances that balance clarity, warmth and momentum. Recognized as one of the leading voices among a new generation of mainstream jazz guitarists, she brings both virtuosity and a strong compositional voice to the stage.

Jocelyn Gould, a 2021 JUNO Award winner, has been called “a leader in the next generation of great mainstream jazz guitarists” by Howard Paul, CEO of Benedetto Guitars. Her joyful energy has captivated audiences around the world and her passion for music is as infectious as her unique ability to connect with audiences. Over the last few years, Gould has absorbed the influences of the jazz guitar greats and has woven them into an exciting personal sound, performing and recording internationally as a leader and with Grammy-nominated vocalist Freddy Cole, JUNO-winning trumpeter and vocalist Bria Skonberg, DownBeat Trombonist of the Year Michael Dease, Etienne Charles, Jon Gordon, Rodney Whitaker, Randy Napoleon and Diego Rivera.
Her debut album, Elegant Traveler, won the 2021 JUNO Award for Jazz Album of the Year: Solo. Her sophomore album, Golden Hour, serves as a showcase for her virtuosic guitar playing and dynamic compositions, receiving international critical acclaim and extensive radio play on Sirius XM Satellite Radio. Golden Hour reached No. 1 on Canadian and No. 9 on North American college radio jazz charts.
