Renowned contemporary craft expert Jennifer Scanlan offers an illuminating look at selected works included in The Passion of Collecting: Stories in Glass and Ceramics from the Sibrack Collection. Drawing on decades of experience working with contemporary craft artists, the discussion explores the artistic innovations and cultural significance of works by contemporary ceramic artists, including Adrian Arleo, George Rodriguez, Etsuko Tashima, Tip Toland, Kukuli Velarde, Patti Warashina and others. Scanlan provides a unique opportunity to gain deeper insight into the evolution of contemporary ceramics and the significance of the works in the Sibrack Collection.
