Guillermo, a 70-year-old neurosurgeon, has always relied on his wife to take care of everything. When she dies suddenly, he is forced to confront the outdated, sexist habits of his upbringing and navigate life independently for the first time.

With guidance from four remarkable women, including his daughter, a lover, and a neighbor, Guillermo embarks on a heartwarming, late-coming-of-age journey of self-discovery. What begins as a personal crisis becomes a story of growth, humor and renewed connection as Guillermo transforms his relationships, honors the memory of his wife and learns what it truly means to be a kind, fair and “real” man.
