At 92, acclaimed Provincetown painter Anne Packard faces a profound turning point as she prepares for a final visit to the gallery that helped define her career. Facing an art world that dismissed her talent, Packard defiantly sold small paintings from the fence outside her home for a few dollars, drawing the attention of collectors and gallery owners on Cape Cod. Together with her daughters, she eventually established her own gallery, where her work would command substantial prices. Now, as a defining chapter of her journey comes to a close, Packard recounts her story in her own words and shares the hard-won wisdom that has sustained her colorful life.
