This lecture will offer a detailed look into the life and career of America’s most important and influential jazz artist. From his upbringing in New Orleans to his place as America’s great cultural ambassador, Bergeron explores the early influences that shaped the life of Louis Armstrong and the legacy he created for America’s indigenous art form.
