Chloe has never really been close with her nan, Peg — she’s a bit bizarre with her weird, wonderful pets and eccentric character. However, when Peg gets diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and moves into the family home, Chloe is forced to become a stay-at-home teenage caregiver overnight. Worried about her daughter’s ability to cope with the weight of her newfound responsibility, Chloe’s mum has her join an Alzheimer’s support group. There, Chloe meets Sam, who offers welcome companionship but also shares about his own mother’s deteriorating condition. Chloe quickly realizes how much things are about to change — and how precious the time she has with her nan really is. In a moment of inspiration, she confronts Peg — they can’t spend every day watching soaps on television. What does she really want to do before she forgets? Together, they come up with a ‘f***-it’ list, and they decide to make Peg’s last memorable summer unforgettable.
