On the centennial year of the formation of the National Park Service, a young filmmaker sets out on a 10,000-mile exploration of the U.S. national parks with his childhood friend. Along the way, the two document a wealth of conversations with the people they meet, getting to know both the people who work in the parks and those who come to enjoy them.
