Actress, dancer and vocalist Adrienne Warren embodies the electrifying energy of Tina Turner and reprises her Tony Award-winning Broadway role as the Queen of Rock when she joins the Naples Philharmonic for a night of the legend’s biggest hits, including Private Dancer, You Better Be Good to Me, We Don’t Need Another Hero and many more — all reimagined for a full orchestra.

In addition to her Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical for Tina – The Tina Turner Musical, Warren has also appeared in film and TV, including CBS’s Bluebloods, ABC’s Quantico and Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black

Join Warren and the Naples Philharmonic as they deliver a performance that promises to be as powerful and dynamic as Tina herself!

Adrienne Warren

Adrienne Warren’s talent as a singer, actress and dancer has established her as a dynamic triple threat. Warren is perhaps most well known for her Tony Award-winning performance as Tina Turner in Broadway’s Tina – The Tina Turner Musical. Warren originated the role, having worked with Tina Turner herself to embody the titular role. Warren transferred the role to Broadway following the 2018 West End production, for which she earned 2019 Olivier, Evening Standard and Joe Allen awards nominations. Warren’s performance in the Broadway run was heralded as “extraordinary” (The Hollywood Reporter), “electrifying” (Rolling Stone) and “star-making” (The New York Times).

Warren previously earned a Tony nomination for her performance as Gertrude Saunders/Florence Mills in the Broadway production of Shuffle Along opposite Audra McDonald. Warren made her Broadway debut in 2012 in Bring It On: The Musical. She made her Carnegie Hall debut in 2017 with the New York Pops and continues to perform around the world. In 2023, she was featured on PBS’s annual A Capitol Fourth, performing an electrifying tribute to the late Tina Turner. Her television and film credits include Rustin, The Woman King, Women of the Movement, Black Cake, Paws & Fury: The Legend of Hank, Helpsters, Quantico, Black Box, Blue Bloods, Orange Is the New Black and the upcoming Dreamland.

Warren is also a co-founder of the Broadway Advocacy Coalition (BAC), which unites artists, experts, students and community leaders to use storytelling and artistry to combat systemic racism.

Manuel López-Gómez

Hugely successful appearances across the globe with many of the world’s finest orchestras have established Manuel López-Gómez’s reputation as a forceful, visionary and inspiring conductor. In addition to his concert work, Manuel is passionate about opera, having previously conducted and recorded the world premiere of Atahualpa by Carlo Enrico Pasta as well as engagements conducting Roméo et Juliette, Il viaggio a Reims and Le nozze di Figaro.

For more than 15 years, Manuel worked side-by-side with Gustavo Dudamel on symphonic and opera projects in Caracas, Los Angeles, Paris and at the Salzburg Festival.

Manuel began studying violin, piano, chamber music, composition and conducting in Venezuela. A product of El Sistema, he views the musical training of young people as a key duty. Beginning in 2024, he serves as associate conductor of the Medellín Philharmonic Orchestra and, most recently, as associate conductor of the Naples Philharmonic.
