Brass Transit:
The Musical Legacy of Chicago
Colour My World
Naples Philharmonic Special Performance

Brass Transit
Naples Philharmonic
Alvin Ho
, conductor

The best of the Windy City’s legendary supergroup Chicago comes to Hayes Hall stage in the form of Brass Transit, the dynamic, crowd-pleasing, studio-tight powerhouse tribute to the rock, jazz and R&B outfit known for classics like Saturday In the Park, 25 or 6 to 4, If You Leave Me Now, Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is, Hard Habit to Break and You’re the Inspiration, among others.

Recently, the band produced its first (self-titled) album and scored a special production for full symphony orchestra. In this program, audiences will experience the symphonic magic of Chicago as Brass Transit joins the Naples Philharmonic for what promises to be nothing short of a spellbinding show.

Brass Transit

Brass Transit

Brass Transit was formed in 2008, its accomplished, award-winning roster intent on paying tribute to the decades-long, multiplatinum songbook of Chicago.

Since 2008, Brass Transit has toured North America steadily, dazzling audiences with flawless performances and spectacular attention to detail. Hits like, Saturday in the Park25 or 6 to 4If You Leave Me NowFeelin’ Stronger Every Day and You’re the Inspiration have left crowds in awe, inspiring multiple standing ovations and praise.

Brass Transit goes far beyond just replicating the songs: They embody the music. They recently produced their first album, taking songs by other top rock artists from the ’70s and recording them with horns in the Chicago style. The result is a fresh approach to some of the greatest hits of the era.

Naples Philharmonic

Naples Philharmonic

Founded in 1982, the Naples Philharmonic normally performs over 140 orchestral and chamber concerts, as well as opera and ballet, education, community and special event concerts from September through June each year.
