Naples Philharmonic
Jack Everly, principal pops conductor
Lee Musiker, piano
Join Jack Everly and the Naples Philharmonic for an exciting continuation of our year-long celebration of George Gershwin’s music. Gershwin’s masterful blend of jazz and classical traditions resulted in a stupendous and distinctly American musical style. This program features some of his most iconic compositions, including I Got Rhythm and Rhapsody in Blue, performed by extraordinary pianist Lee Musiker, who served as Tony Bennett’s music director and pianist for over a decade. This evening promises to be a thrilling tribute to one of America’s greatest composers, filled with the timeless melodies and unique rhythms that define Gershwin’s legacy.
Jack Everly’s appearance as Principal Pops Conductor is generously endowed by John W.* and Jeanne M. Rowe.
