Oscar has dedicated his entire life to the well-being of his disabled son, Billy. But after being diagnosed with cancer, Oscar realizes he may have helped Billy too much, causing his wheelchair-bound son to be less independent than others with similar disabilities. Confronted with the question: “Who will care for my son when I’m gone?” Oscar shifts from caregiver to personal trainer. In their remaining precious time together, Oscar begins teaching his son the skills he needs to work as a grocery store bagger, preparing him for a life of independence after Oscar’s passing.
