Natalie Metzger


Natalie Metzger
Natalie Metzger is a Spirit Award-nominated producer of 17 feature films and over 30 shorts. Most notable feature credits include WGA Award nominee It Ain’t Over, SXSW Grand Jury Award winner Thunder Road, erotic thriller and NIFF 2021 film The Beta Test, upcoming drama Under the Lights and others. Most notable short credits include Poof, The Robbery and Dress a Cow. Metzger is an award-winning writer and director whose credits include Alone in the Game, Sleep Study, Immortal and Special Blood.

Sabina Dana Plasse


Dana Plasse
Sabina Dana Plasse is the editor of SVPN Magazine and a contributor to Western Home Journal and several other publications around the country. A supporter of independent film, she reviews films for Film Threat and contributes to several film festivals, including the Sun Valley Film Festival as its first director. Plasse also operates a boutique publicity and marketing firm. She graduated from Bucknell University and has master’s degrees from Johns Hopkins University and American University.

Alexander Shelley


Alexander Shelley
Alexander Shelley, in his inaugural season as Sharon and Timothy Ubben Artistic and Music Director of Artis—Naples, joins the jury for this year’s Naples International Film Festival. Alexander leads the Naples Philharmonic and plays a central role in shaping the organization’s multidisciplinary programming. Also the music director of Canada’s National Arts Centre Orchestra and principal associate conductor of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Alexander is celebrated for his visionary leadership and dynamic performances around the globe. A dedicated advocate for music education, his innovative approach continues to captivate audiences worldwide.

The Naples International Film Festival distributed more than $10,000 in cash prizes for a variety of awards, including two juried competitions, in which selected films vied for cash prizes totaling $5,000 in the Narrative Feature and Documentary Feature categories. Winners in these and other categories were announced at the celebratory Closing Night Awards Ceremony on Sunday, October 27.

In the Juried Narrative Feature competition, films included:

  Ben and Suzanne, A Reunion in 4 Parts
  Fight Like a Girl
  Sheepdog

In the Juried Documentary Feature competition, films included:

  76 Days Adrift
  The Accidental Spy
  Between the Mountain and the Sky
